I grew up in Italy in the 70s-80s and Heather was definitely a star. Everybody loved her, she was so fresh. We were all in awe of what she could do with her body (as you pointed out she was a dancer most and foremost), so us kids tried to emulate her moves. Disco bambina was a huge hit, and so was Cicale (fun fact: even if I know the lyrics to this day, I had never realized the wordplay cicale-ci cale, thank you for that). Good times, teinted of nostalgia for a lot of us growing up then.
Again an artist i never heard of. What I find always surprising is how good the productions were in tune with the popular sound of the day. Great read. Thanks for sharing !

I followed her on Instagram, where recently she celebrated Donald Trump's victory. Who I thought was a modern progressive person...is the type of person that I can't to respect any longer (along with half of my country).
